Introduction
We are looking for someone to work with us as a CAD Operator. In this article, we will introduce our company, the kind of work we would ask you to do, and the skills required, as clearly as possible.
About Our Company
Commonwealth Engineers Co., Ltd. provides civil and architectural design for large facilities such as power plants, petrochemical plants, cement plants, LNG plants, and steel mills. Our work is to create the drawings for the buildings and foundations of these large-scale facilities.
These are not facilities most people see in everyday life, but they support the electricity, fuel, and everyday products around us. We would like a CAD Operator to join us as part of the team that creates these drawings.
The Work We Would Ask You to Do
Based on instructions from our design staff, you would be asked to create and revise drawings using AutoCAD.
This work requires care — not only completing a single drawing, but also checking that related drawings are consistent with one another. Whenever something is unclear, you can check with our design staff as you go, so this role suits someone who communicates well and works through tasks steadily.

The work we would ask you to do centers on drawing production with AutoCAD.
We also have project experience using BIM tools such as Revit in-house, so this is a good environment for someone who wants to build on a foundation of AutoCAD drafting work and, over time, develop BIM skills as well.
※BIM stands for “Building Information Modeling” — a method of building a 3D model of a structure on a computer and managing all the related design information together.
Separately, we also recruit new graduates and candidates without prior industry experience, for whom no software experience is required. Because this position requires you to begin practical work soon after joining, practical experience with AutoCAD is a condition for this role. Application requirements differ depending on the recruitment category.
